Our Wedding

Avia and Mohamed (Mo) met at the wedding of their friends Ify and Gospel in 2021. Though they have very different accounts on the details of the day they first met, they both agree their lives were forever changed. Their top favorite things to do together include introducing each other to new music, being foodies, enjoying nature, giving back to their communities, and traveling. Their favorite travels as a couple thus far include Hawaii, Jamaica, Belize, and Mohamed's birthplace, Sierra Leone (some of these travels are pictured above). Mohamed proposed to Avia in her hometown of Dallas, TX, on December 29, 2023.
